my 1997 oldsmobile aurora

hello everyone. i am the owner of a black 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora. she is in a bit of rough condition but i love my car and hope to have her for a long time. i am also a member of the aurora club of north america (ACNA) forum. it is a great family of olds aurora enthusiasts and i hope this forum can become as close as the ACNA. lets see this forum grow into a large northstar fan base. here is are a couple pics of my baby. i know she aint real pretty right now but she is gonna get fixed over the summer. (by the way, she has had a wash since these pics, so she is a lot cleaner.)

Congrats on joining the forum, and wow a black 1G aurora you don't see many of them around. And btw i'm actually digging your not having center caps on your rims, makes them look bigger. But again welcome!

personally im not a big fan of the no center caps. i am hoping to get some new ones first thing after i get out of school for the summer. they just kind of bother me a bit, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions. lol

I don't know for some reason i'm just digging them, it makes the rim look totally different. And most rims look half ass or 'sloppy' without them, but they don't. I like my rims, I just wish they were chrome and an inch bigger; the thing is the the car came with almost brand new good year 245/55/16 tires on the stock aluminum rims, i'd like to get a set of some chrome 17's at least (if not 18's) but at the same time I have some really expensive and good tires I don't wanna just throw away or sell for a cheap price, so I might just be stuck with buying new rims but stuck in the 16" range blah.

that is a bit of a problem because i think 17s or 18s look good on the aurora. i dont know what to tell ya. i am thinking about getting new rims sometime, just not sometime soon. they are bremmer kraft br05. i think they add a bit of racing look to the car. you can go to tire rack and look at them on a black 1G aurora. i think they look good

Yeah tirerack is the shiznit, I used to go there and look at rims back when I was 16 and had my 91 prelude si lol, I know someone on ACNA actually put 24's on his aurora (I believe he owns a 300M now because the aurora got totalled but it has the same rims)

Love the 1st generation in black, that rim looks gooooodddd!! (rim fanatic). I am going to get something like them for my 2nd gen except for 20 inches.

i dont know if those comein 20's, but they do look awesome on the 1G

24's on a 1g is awesome itself!
