DTS Performance model

Just wondering why the 2006-2010 DTS Performance model is almost always priced lower (as a used car) than the luxury models? Good for me as I am searching a Performance model.

Maybe because they are less desirable than the base for some reason, do they have all the options the regular base DTS has?

The DTS Performance is the top model. So it gets all the good stuff. Plus it is the only model to get the magnetic ride control shocks and struts. It is good for me as it is the model I desire.

I love the magnetic ride *drooling* wish the aurora had that damn... I do like the DTS, i'd just think i'd rather have a 2005+ STS Northstar, because when they were new they were like 1-2k apart, and still used are about the same. The STS (and I mean the actual STS not seville-sts), has alll the options the seville has and maybe more, a more updated/refreshed interior and exterior body, has a good rigid body and comes in RWD or AWD. Yumm 2008+ (because the 2008's have the 6spd auto vs the earlier 5spd auto) STS-4 Northstar will def. be my next car

I also like the STS4. Awesome car. Only 2 drawbacks in my opinion. Rear leg room and it looks exactly like the CTS. From a distance I still cannot tell an STS from a CTS

I agree with the rear leg room not being the most roomiest or up to par with the DTS, and I agree it's def. SIMILAR to the cts but I could never not tell them apart; especially from the headlights, their much like taller and narrow and from the side the wheel base and length is just longer and the roofline shape/height is quite a bit difference, same with the trunk/deck.
